About the Mission
The Kenya Embassy in Juba was established as a consulate in February 2006, following the coming into force of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). In July 2011, at the Independence of the Republic of South Sudan, the consulate was upgraded to a fully-fledged diplomatic mission.
It is a bilateral mission in South Sudan and promotes Kenyan strategic interests in South Sudan. Since its establishment, the mission has continued to deepen the cordial relations existing between the two sisterly countries.
This embassy was established consistently with Kenya’s Foreign Policy
