The Reconstituted Joint Monitoring and Evaluation Commission (RJMEC) Interim Chairperson, H.E Amb. Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Gituai on 18th January 2023 paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Samuel Nandwa at the Chancery.
Amb. Gituai updated Amb. Nandwa on the implementation status of the Revitalized Peace Agreement, and lauded Kenya’s positive role in its implementation. RJMEC is constituted under Chapter VII of the R-ARCSS and is responsible for monitoring and overseeing the implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement while urging the parties to the agreement to fast track various tasks under their purview.
