On 11th July, 2025 His Excellency Ambassador Jeremy Ndola hosted Maj Gen. Yitayal Gelaw, outgoing Chairperson of the Ceasefire and Transitional Security Arrangements Monitoring and Verification Mechanism (CTSAMVM) for a courtesy visit at Kenya Embassy, Juba. The purpose of the courtesy call was to introduce the incoming Chairperson of CTSAMVM, Maj Gen. Teshome Anagaw.
The Kenyan Ambassador commended CTSAMVM for its role in safeguarding peace and security in South Sudan and further reaffirmed Kenya’s support for CTSAMVM’s effort not only as IGAD Member State but also as a guarantor of the R-ARCSS.
The CTSAMVM leadership expressed appreciation for support received from Government of Kenya especially the technical support through the deployment of personnel.
