The two Ambassadors acknowledged the cordial relations between the Republic of Kenya and the Arab Republic of Egypt and underscored the need to continue strengthening the relations. They also discussed matters of mutual interest between the two countries.

The Ambassadors also engaged on the South Sudan peace process including the Tumaini Pease Initiative and underscored the importance of the international community’s support to the Tumaini Initiative.

The Ambassadors agreed to cooperate on areas of common interest for the benefit of their two nations.
