Courtesy call by the Canadian Ambassador-Designate, on 14th November, 2024

Ambassador Jeremy N. Ndola (2nd from front right) engages Amb. Joanne Minns (2nd from front left), Ambassador-Designate of Canada to the Republic of South Sudan on November 14, 2024. Also present were Mr. John Nyaga, First Counsellor (Kenya) and Ms. Sadia Mahmood, First Secretary (Canada).

The two Ambassadors acknowledged the cordial relations between Kenya and Canada and discussed matters of mutual interest between the two countries.

They also engaged on the South Sudan peace process including the Tumaini Pease Initiative while emphasizing the need for international Community’s continued support to the implementation of the South Sudan Revitalized Peace Agreement including the Tumaini Initiative.

The Ambassadors agreed to cooperate on areas of common interest for the benefit of their two nations.
