AMBASSADOR’S COURTESY CALL ON THE MINISTER OF ROADS AND BRIDGES OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH SUDAN

During the meeting, the Ambassador and the Minister underscored the importance of the Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia-Transport (LAPSSET) Corridor project to Kenya, South Sudan and the region. They acknowledged the need to fast-track completion of the pending 11km Nadapal – Nakodok road section, and extension of the road from Nakodok to Juba. This would facilitate movement of goods and people, hence improved trade, investment and commerce between the two countries.
