AMBASSADOR-DESIGNATE MEETING WITH THE DEPUTY SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF THE UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY-GENERAL (DSRSG) OF THE UNITED NATIONS MISSION IN SOUTH SUDAN (UNMISS)

The DRSG congratulated Amb.  Jeremy N. Ndola for the appointment as Ambassador-Designate to South Sudan. The DRSG briefed the Ambassador on the progress of the implementation of the Revitalised Agreement on the Resolution of the Conflict in the Republic of South Sudan (R-ARCSS). They both deliberated on the need to support South Sudan by the international community, including encouraging the parties signatory to the R-ARCSS to fast-track the implementation of the pending tasks of the Roadmap.
